Dear clients,

Policies and Procedures

With recent changes to masking mandates, and the lifting of any remaining public health measures, directives and orders announced the Ontario Government on March 9, 2022, effectively starting March 21st, I feel the need to clarify requirements to access services at my clinic.

As a private health care facility, I am required to keep the following protocols required for health care settings.

All COVID procedures and requirements described below will stay in place for the time being.

Thank you for your understanding.

I have implemented many new policies and procedures, based on the guidance of my regulator, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and the Ministry of Health to keep my patients as safe as possible.

This includes enhanced COVID-19 screening procedures, increased cleaning, and disinfecting focusing on hand hygiene and altering my clinic space, as well as wearing a mask throughout the treatment and asking patients to do the same. Please see specific policies below:

  • I will be disabling same-day bookings for the time being, to allow for proper scheduling.
  • Upon booking, you will be asked to fill a COVID-19 screening form online.
  • I will always be wearing a surgical/procedural mask and ask that clients also wear their own mask.
  • Please wait in your car for me to signal you to come in.
  • You will be asked to use the available hand sanitizer upon entering.
  • Only one client will be allowed in the clinic at a time, though support people will still be allowed to continue assisting as usual. Support staff/family are also required to wear a mask.
  • Due to my increased costs and limited treatments, all prices will be increasing January 1st 2023.

My priority will always be keeping my patients safe, and I will help guide you through all of the new policies and procedures so you can feel as safe as possible when you come in for a treatment.

Thank you for your continued support.

Nick Jamotte, RMT
